BENGALURU: The menace of drunkards on the roads is increasing of late and techies seem to be afraid of driving at night. If techies are alone in a car, especially women, miscreants block the car in the middle of the road, create a ruckus or threaten them for.

A woman techie returning home from office was harassed by a motorcycle rider, presumably drunk, around 10.30 pm on Thursday who blocked her car near BEML Layout in Brookefield. He forced her to step out of the car and though requested him to leave, he continued to block her car for a few times. He left only after some locals intervened.

The act of miscreant was caught on the dashboard camera of her car. She narrated the incident on her ‘X’ handle and tagged the police. She wrote Another #roadrage incident unfolded last night at #bemllayoutBrookfield while I was driving back from the office around 10:30 pm” on the ‘. She also tagged @BlrCityPolice ,  @CMofKarnataka ,  @east_bengaluru , @mybangalore

In the video, an allegedly drunk man suddenly appeared on the left side of her car and obstructed her way while she was taking a left turn and blocked her. He also started honking incessantly instead of slowing down. He again blocked her way for the second time and started to threaten her. Then, he left the place when the locals intervened.
