MADIKERI: A taxi driver assaulted a tourist at Cauvery Nisargadhama in Kushalnagar over a parking issue at the popular tourist spot. The incident occurred on October 22, but has come to light only recently.
In CCTV camera footage, a couple of taxi drivers can be seen approaching the tourist and getting into a verbal duel. Then, one of the drivers assaults the tourist because he had parked his vehicle in the taxi drivers’ parking slot.
The act has come in for widespread condemnation from locals as well as tourists.
