MANGALURU: Two students of a prestigious institution have landed in trouble after a video of them in a lip lock and sexual act over a truth-or-dare game has gone viral.
A group of students of the prestigious institutions at Baavutagudda engaged in game of truth-or-dare in which they were staying. In the viral video, a boy and a girl are seen smooching even as their friends cheer. Later, they also engaged in sex, which was also recorded on a mobile phone.
The incident is said to have occurred four months ago and the student who recorded the videos later shared it on his class WhatsApp group. There were a total of eight male students and three female students in the room. It is learnt that the students used to consume alcohol and drugs in that accommodation. On coming to know of this, the apartment owner got them to vacate.
The Mangaluru police have now taken the student who released the videos into custody. “Since it is a serious case, we will investigate thoroughly and register a case”, said Mangaluru Police Commissioner N Shashikumar.
The police commissioner met the college principal and the police have also collected information from the owner of the apartment where the incident took place. The studens involved and their parents have also been summoned by the police.
