BENGALURU: The Congress government has given the go-ahead to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to investigate suspended ADGP Amrit Paul under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
Amrit Paul is in judicial custody in connection with the police sub-inspector (PSI) recruitment scam, which the CID is investigating separately.
Now, the CID will probe Armit Paul under the PC Act for bribery while in the post of ADGP recruitment in the police department.
