BENGALURU: In some cheer for state government employees ahead of Dasara and Deepavali celebrations, the government on Saturday announced an increase in dearness allowance by 3.75 per cent.
With the revised order, the dearness allowance of the government employees has increased from the existing 35 per cent to 38.75 per cent.
The government also announced that lecturers on UGC/AICTE/ICAR scale and judicial officers in the NJPC will get a hike of 4 per cent in their dearness allowance (DA). The government has issued an order increasing it by 4 per cent (revised to 46 per cent).
