HASSAN: A male spotted deer died after it was hit by a unidentified vehicle on National Highway 75, at Bage village in Sakleshpur taluk on Tuesday morning.
Locals have demanded the Forest department to take certain measures, like putting up signboards and warning boards along the highways to prevent wild animal deaths in roadkills.
