Veerendra's motorcycle hit the flyover wall and broke into several parts. A part of it fell on the temple below.

BENGALURU: In a ghastly accident, a speeding motorcycle rider died after he crashed into the retaining wall of a flyover near the Kunigal bypass in Nelamangala and fell 40 feet below. The deceased was identified as Veerendra (38), who hailed from Raichur and was working in Bengaluru.

According to witnesses, the motorcycle flipped four to five times after hitting the retaining wall and broke into 5-6 pieces. Some parts of the motorcycle fell on a temple below the flyover. Veerendra was returning to Bengaluru when the accident occurred.

The motorcycle broke into several parts due to the impact.

The rider suffered grievous injuries in the accident and was shifted to a hospital by locals. However, he did not survive as he had bled heavily. The Nelamangala police visited the spot and registered a case.
