BENGALURU: A specially-abled man died after he was knocked down by a BMTC bus near the entry gate at Majestic bus stand on Wednesday. The bus driver has been arrested. The BMTC bus was plying from Yeshwantpur to Majestic.
According to the authorities concerned, overspeeding was the cause of the accident. The BMTC driver Gopalaiah has been taken into custody by Upparpet police and a case has been registered at the Upparpet traffic police station.
