MANGALURU: The family of late Spandana, the wife of actor Vijay Raghavendra, was hit by another tragedy after her uncle Heraje Shekhar Bangera was killed in an accident.
Shekhar Bangera is the brother of Spandana and Belthangady Congress leader Rakshit Shivaram’s mother. He was crossing the street when he was knocked down by a two-wheeler and died on the way to hospital.
Shekhar Bangera had got a food parcel at Santhekatte in Belthangady and was crossing the road when a woman on a speeding two-wheeler knocked him down. Bangera was immediately shifted to hospital, but did not survive.
The two-wheeler rider too sustained severe injuries in the incident. The police have registered a case and taken up further investigation.
