BELAGAVI: Villagers of Shivapura in Saudatti taluk were in for a shock when they discovered a skeleton sprawled on the floor in a house on Saturday. It is suspected that the person may have died 8-9 months ago.
The deceased is suspected to be Prakash Tavanappa Muragundi, who was living alone in the old house. Prakash’s parents had died some years ago and his brother had shifted to Kalaghatagi in Dharwad district long ago. It is said that Prakash was mentally unstable.
The Murgod police visited the spot and collected evidence. Further investigation in on.
