BENGALURU: The skeletal remains of a woman, who is believed to have died one-and-half-years ago, was found in a house at Havanur Layout, T Bagalagunte, in Bagalagunte police limits on Friday evening. The deceased was identified as 50-year-old Dakshayini.
Dakshayini was living alone at home ever since her husband Umesh had died 10 years ago. Her son also died due to illness. The house had been lying as it was for the past one year. Arond 8 pm on Friday, locals saw the house door open and called 112 thinking someone might have come to steal.
When police came to the house and checked, the skeleton was found in the bathroom. The Bagalagunte police have sent the skeleton to to the forensic laboratory to establish the cause of death.
