BENGALURU: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has filed a chargesheet in the third case of assault against former MP Prajwal Revanna.
The 1,691-page detailed chargesheet lists a crucial piece of evidence— the saree of the victim, statements of a zilla panchayat member, and 120 other witnesses.
The chargesheet alleges that the victim was threatened at gunpoint and assaulted, and that a video was made and used to blackmail her, leading to repeated assault and harassment.
The victim had initially not filed a complaint due to fear of the accused being an MP, but later gave a statement to the police, it says.
