Shivakumar targets govt on power situation

UDUPI: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president D K Shivakumar has claimed that the state’s power situation was better when he was Energy minister. “Look at what has happened now”, he remarked.

Claiming that he was willing to face any punishment if he had done any wrong, Shivakumar said he is open to any sort of investigation by any agency.

Speaking to reporters at Uppunda vilage in Baindoor taluk, he said that the worl’s largest solar park was set up during his tenure. “If there is even 0.1 per cent criminality in it, I will take responsibility”, he stressed.
