Serial accident on Peenya flyover, none injured

BENGALURU: A serial accident on the Peenya flyover left at least a half dozen vehicles damaged and affected traffic movement for some time on Tuesday.

A patrol vehicle belonging to the National Highways Authority of India was clearing flexes put up to mark the birthday of MLA Vishwanath on the flyover towards Tumakuru.

In order to avoid the patrol vehicle, one of the vehicles swerved and hit the road divider. Vehicles coming from behind rammed one into the other, leading to a pile-up. Luckily, no one was injured seriously.

The Peenya police visited the spot and cleared the traffic.
