BENGALURU: After actor Darshan, an accused in a Renukaswamy murder case, was granted interim bail on health grounds, security has been tightened at his residence in RR Nagar, with the police keeping a close eye on every activity.
The police are closely monitoring Darshan’s every move. Currently, Darshan is staying at his residence in Hosakerehalli in Bengaluru. After Darshan’s son Vinish’s birthday celebration today, he is likely to be admitted to a hospital for treatment.
As a precautionary measure, the police have taken steps to prevent any untoward incidents. They have set up barricades on both roads leading to his house and deployed additional security personnel.
Around 55 police personnel, including a KSRP platoon and RR Nagar police, have been assigned to ensure security near Darshan’s residence, anticipating a large gathering of his fans.
The High Court granted interim bail to Darshan while imposing on several conditions. If the accused Darshan violates even one condition imposed by the court or is found to be doing so, soon the police will bring it to the attention of the court, the interim bail cancelled and Darshan sent back him to jail, sources said.
If Darshan tried to exert pressure on the witnesses, he will have to face trouble. Darshan will have to limit his bail time to avail treatment, otherwise, he will be sent to Ballari jail again, the sources pointed out.
