Children of the government higher primary school wash plates in the canal.

RAICHUR: It is a common sight to see children of the government higher primary school at Panchamukhi Ganadhal in the taluk rush out every day after midday meals to wash their plates in the irrigation canal on the other side of the road.

With no water in the school, the children head to the canal with flowing water, wash their plates and even spend some time playing there.

Villagers have now questioned the school authorities and said they would be held responsible if any untoward incident occurs.
