BIDAR: A sambar, which had fallen into a 15-foot-deep well at Halli village in Basavakalyan taluk, was rescued by the Fire and Emergency Services personnel.
The sambar had fallen into a well on private land and was struggling to come out. Locals who notices this immediately informed the firemen who rescued the animal with the help of a rope.
The sambar was later treated by the Forest Department staff and released into a forest.
