Rishab dedicates Dadasaheb Phalke film fest award to Daiva nartakas

BENGALURU: ‘Kantara’ actor-director Rishab Shetty who received the ‘Most Promising Actor’ at the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards held in Mumbai on Monday for his powerful acting, has dedicated the prestigious award to all Daiva Nartakas, people of Karnataka, late actor ‘Power Star’ Puneeth Raj Kumar and legendary movie director S K Bhagavan.

Kantara star actor Rishab Shetty called his wife Pragathi Shetty a ‘pillar of his his life at the award ceremony.

Sharing an update on Instagram, Rishab Shetty said “Feels honoured and blessed to be awarded prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award for Most Promising Actor. The award encouraged me to do many more cinemas and increased my responsibilities”.

He also thanked the Hombale Films and the producer Vijay Kiragandur for trusting him and giving him the opportunity to make the film. He also thanked the Kantara team and technicians for their suppor, and his wife Pragathi Shetty whom he called the pillar of his life.
