BENGALURU: Actor and star campaigner Ramya has been invited by the Congress to take part in the election campaign for 5–6 days in several parts of Old Mysore region and Bengaluru.
The former Congress MP was given the invitation by the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee. The Congress released its list of 40 star campaigners on April 19, but Ramya has so far not participated in any party programmes officially. Now, she has been asked to campaign in at least six constituencies and the party hope to capitalise on it.
