Rakhi Sawant appears before Mysuru court, says she has marriage papers

MYSURU: Bollywood actor Rakhi Sawant appeared before the Mysuru District and Sessions Court in connection with a domestic dispute case on Wednesday.

Speaking to mediapersons, she said, “My husband Adil Durrani has been arrested by the Mumbai police. He has been placed in judicial custody for seven days by the court. I have come to appear before the judge. I want justice, and he should not get bail for any reason”.

“He is legally married to me and I have all the necessary documents to prove it. I spoke to Adil’s father this morning and he said he wouldn’t accept me because I am a Hindu. Adil took Rs 1.65 crore for business, but he did not return a single penny”, she clamied.

Adil Durrani was also presented before the court on Wednesday.

“Adil told me that the people of Mysuru are cheats and that is why he said that he wanted to come to Mumbai to settle down there. He even told me that he was interested in acting. He has physically attacked me many times in Mumbai. I have confidence in the Mysuru court and I want justice”, she insisted.
