Public TV chairman HR Ranganath was presented the invitation on Saturday.

BENGALURU: With the consecration of the Ram Lala idol scheduled to be consecrated on January 22 at the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Public TV chairman H R Ranganath has been invited to attend the grand ceremony.

The invitation was handed over by Rashtriya Swayam Sevak (RSS) Pranth Sampark Pramukh Devanand, Pranth Prachar Pramukh Rajesh Padmar and social worker Raghavendra at the Public TV office on Saturday.

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust is sending out invitations to 6,000 important personalities across the country for the Pran Prathishta of the idol wherein Prime Minister Narendra Modi, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandi Ben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Mahant Nritya Gopal Das ji will be participating.

The Pran Prathishta rituals will be carried out between 12.29.08 pm and 12.30.32 pm. Initially, a five-day window between January 15-25 was chosen for the idol installation ceremony and January 22 was picked on the advise of Pandit Ganeshwar Shastri as it is believed to bring Sanjivini yog to the country.
