BENGALURU: A probationary police officer and a constable of the Madiwala police station are among three arrested for colluding with kidnappers for money. The arrested are probationary police sub-inspector Siddaroodha and constable Allahbaksh.
Three men had recently kidnapped one Karthik of HSR Layout and had released him after taking a ransom of Rs 20 lakh. They again kidnapped Karthik from KG Halli for more money and drove around the city while assaulting him all the while.
A case in this regard was filed at the KG Halli police station which was later transferred to the Central Crime Branch (CCB) police. During the course of the investigation, the CCB have arrested the probationary PSI and the constable along with a Home Guard. Further investigations are on.
