BENGALURU: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was in the city to inaugurate the Aero India show, planted a sandalwood sapling in the lawns of the Raj Bhavan on Monday.

The Prime Minister, who arrived in the city for the Aero India Show on Sunday, spent the night at the Raj Bhavan. On Monday morning, he planted a sandalwood sapling in the lawns of the Raj Bhavan.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi planted a sapling of sandalwood in front of the lawn at Raj Bhavan.

Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot briefed Prime Minister Modi about the plants, species, properties and use of the medicinal plants grown in the Raj Bhavan.
