Controversial banner calling MP Pratap Simha a ‘traitor’ comes up in Mysuru

MYSURU: A controversial flex was put up in Mysuru against MP Pratap Simha for allegedly issuing a pass to Manoranjan D, who created a security scare in the Lok Sabha after jumping from the visitor’s gallery and bursting a smoke canister. The flex was later removed.

The Karnataka State Backward Classes Vigilance Forum had put up a flex near Maharaja’s Circle in Mysuru calling Pratap Simha as a ‘traitor’. In the morphed photo, Pratap Simha could be seen that holding a bomb in the right hand and a visitor’s pass in the left hand. He was seen wearing a black coat on a white shirt with the traditional Arabian keffiyeh (scarf) and agal (head band).

A signature campaign is being conducted demanding the suspension of Pratap Singh from the post of MP. The Karnataka State Backward Classes Vigilant Forum has alleged that Pratap Simha issue a pass to a miscreant to enter Parliament House.

As soon as the matter came to light, the city corporation staff cleared the flex of Pratap Simha. While it was being removed, the members of forum had a verbal exchange with the staff.  The morphed photo of Pratap Simha on the flex drew the attention of many people, who stopped to take a look, and also on social media.
