TUMAKUR: In poll-bound Karnataka, Prasannakumar, who is a ticket aspirant from Gubbi constituency, was expelled from Congress party’s primary membership for anti-party activities. The order was issued by district Congress unit president Chandrashekhar Gowda with the approval of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee and other leaders.
Prasannakumar had strongly opposed expelled JD(S) MLA S R Srinivas joining the Congress and had even started campaigning while claiming that he is the party’s official candidate from Gubbi constituency.
