BENGALURU: Incumbent Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna, who has been named as an accused in a sexual assault and rape case following the obscene video leak, has yet again evaded the notice issued by the special investigation team (SIT) to present himself for inquiry.

Prajwal Revanna flew out of the country immediately after a former house help filed a complaint against him and his father H D Revanna at the Holenarsipur police station. He was believed to have headed to Frankfurt in Germany and later to Dubai in the UAE. He has reportedly booked a business class ticket on a Lufthansa flight from Munich to Bengaluru and is expected to arrive in the city on May 16.

After the SIT put out a notice asking the MP to present himself for questioning, Prajwal Revanna had informed the police through his lawyers that he was abroad and needed a week’s time. The SIT later issued four notices and including a blue corner notice and is monitoring incoming passengers at all airports across the country.

However, even on Wednesday, no tickets were booked in Prajwal Revanna’s name for Wednesday and none of the airports across the country had any information about his arrival.
