BENGALURU: Two-and-half months after 47-year-old businessman Pradeep S, died allegedly after shooting himself in his car at Nettigere on January 1, the police are preparing to file a B-report in the case before court within a week after completing the investigation.

The Kaggalipura police recorded the statements of 20 people, including a two-page statement from Mahadevapura MLA Arvind Limbavali, who was named among the accused. In his statement, Limbavali said that he knew Pradeep as a businessman, but had no relation to him or his suicide. He stated that he had only suggested to Pradeep to sort out his financial disputes with his friends.

Police sources said that there is no clear evidence to prove Pradeep’s allegations in his death note. It was found that Limbavali did not pressure Pradeep in the financial dispute or provoke him to take the extreme step.
