Police constable makes mom’s 63rd birthday special by taking her on flight

HAVERI: People like to celebrate their friends’ birthdays in creative ways. In one such rare instance, a police constable surprised his mother by celebrating her 63rd birthday on a Indigo flight flight to Bengaluru on Wednesday.

Byadagi police station constable Hanumanthappa Sunkada took his parents, Parvatavva and Lakshamana, along with his daughter Chandana, on an flight from Hubballi to Bengaluru. After the seat belt warnings were turned off, he celebrated his mother Parvatavva’s birthday by cutting a 2 kg cake which he had brought with him.

Paravtavva was always involved in farming work and had never flown in an aircraft. Hence, Hanumanthappa decided to make his mother’s 63rd birthday a special one. The family also shared the cake with their co-passengers.
