KOLAR: The investigation into the deaths of two 13-year-old girls, Chaitrabai and Dhanyabai, who were found dead in a well at Yelachepalli in Mulbagal taluk, has revealed that they died by suicide.
According to the police investigation, the girls left a death note citing family problems and neglect by their parents as the reason for taking their own lives. The girls had gone missing on October 2 and were found dead in an open well two days later.
Initially, there were suspicions of foul play, but the post-mortem report and investigation revealed that the girls had taken their own lives. The police have found a death note in the girls’ school bag, which has shed light on the circumstances leading to their deaths. The police are taking the case seriously and are conducting further investigation.
