PM Modi’s brother, family members suffer injuries after car hits divider

MYSURU: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s brother Prahlad Modi and his family members were injured after their car met with an accident at Kadakola in Nanjangud taluk on Tuesday.

Prahlad Modi, along with his son Mehul Prahlad Modi, daughter-in-law Jindal Modi, grandson Mehat Mehul Modi, and car driver Satyanarayana, were travelling toward Bandipur when they met with an accident. The injured were admitted to JSS Hospital.

“PM Narendra Modi’s brother Prahlad Modi and his family met with an accident near Kadakola. The car hit the divider, and immediately the airbags deployed. Everyone is out of danger and has minor injuries. The doctor said they would be kept in the hospital for one day under observation. His grandson has a fracture in the leg and others are safe”, said MP Pratap Simha.

“Around 1.30 pm, five people were brought to the hospital. They are out of danger and they have minor injuries. Prahlad Modi’s grandson has a fractured leg. They are conscious. The PM’s brother has facial injuries”, said Dr Madhu of JSS Hospital.
