BENGALURU: In a shocking incident, a software engineer who was staying in a rented house was caught recording the landlady while she was bathing on his mobile phone. He has since been arrested.
Manjunath C N, a software engineer, had been living in Begur, for the past five years. On July 27, the landlady was bathing at home and suspected that someone was recording her on a mobile phone from the window. She then checked the CCTV in the neighbouring house and the footage showed Manjunath running away.
The landlady immediately called the police who took Manjunath into custody and checked his mobile phone. During the inspection, several videos of the house owner bathing were found on the techie’s mobile. The Begur police have registered a case, arrested the accused, and are investigating further.
