LATUR (Maharashtra): With the Maharashtra Assembly election inching closer, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister and Congress leader D K Shivakumar on Monday expressed confidence in the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) winning the upcoming state polls.
Speaking in Maharashtra’s Latur, Shivakumar stated that the people of Maharashtra will elect the MVA with more than 175 seats. “In Maharashtra, we are confident that Congress will come to power with a thumping majority. The people of the state will elect MVA with 175 seats. We will form the government”, the Congress leader said, adding the alliance will provide good governance after being voted to power.
Reacting to the speculation of a rift within the MVA alliance on the Maharashtra CM post, Shivakumar said, “There is no dispute on any issue; the party, after the results, will discuss the CM face”.
