PayMLA posters crop up against MLA Jyothiganesh in Tumakuru

Some people are busy in sticking Pay MLA poster at night on the compound wall of Sree Siddaganga College of Education.

TUMAKURU: After the PayCM campaign was undertaken in the state by the Congress, now PayMLA posters had suddenly appeared in Tumakuru with the name of MLA Jyothi Ganesh and a QR Code with a caption saying, ‘If you want to get any work done..Payme’ with the tagline ‘Corruption is my first priority’, on Friday night.

Some people were seen sticking PayMLA posters at night on the compound wall of Sree Siddaganga College of Education.

Some Congress workers from the district were seen on the road, sticking the posters on compound walls in Tumakuru on Friday night. As soon BJP workers, got to know about it, they came immediately and removed the posters overnight. Congress activists were planning to hold poster campaign from last two months, but they didn’t.

PayMLA posters cropped up in Tumakuru targeting MLA Jyothiganesh.

There were rumours in Tumakuru that Jyothiganesh may quit the BJP and join the Congress to contest the upcoming Assembly election. But recently, Jyothiganesh announced at a public meeting that BJP is in his blood and that there was no question of him quitting the party. Apparently angered by this, Congress activists stuck the PayMLA posters everywhere overnight, it is said.

The Congress had conducted the PayCM campaign targeting Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, accusing the BJP government of taking 40 per cent commission from contractors.
