Over 70K turn up at Army recruitment rally under Agnipath scheme in Bidar

BIDAR: The Army recruitment rally under the Agnipath scheme began here today with over 70,000 aspirants turning up from districts like Belagavi, Raichur, Koppal, Kalaburagi and other places.

Candidates are checked for height and other parameters and their documents are also being checked.

The candidates are undergoing physical tests and their documents are being scrutinised at the rally being held at the Nehru Stadium here. The district administration has made all arrangements for the candidates.

Police personnel have been posted to prevent any untoward incidents and movement of vehicles around the stadium has been restricted. Alternate routes have been chalked out for vehicle users.
