MYSURU: The death toll in the ghastly accident that occurred at Kurubur village on the Mysuru-Kollegal main road on May 29, involving a private bus and a Toyota Innova MUV has risen to 11 four days after the incident.
Sandeep was among the three who had sustained injuries, but he died today without responding to treatment at K R Hospital in Mysuru. He had suffered serious head injury in the accident and his condition was critical.
The rest of the injured are responding to treatment.
Ten people, including nine from Ballari, and the MUV driver, had died on the spot after the Innova and the bus collided head on near Kurubur village in T Narasipur taluk on May 29. Now, one more person, who was a passenger of the ill-fated bus, died four days after the incident.
