VIJAYAPURA: A man in Vijayapura town received a threatening video call from a fraudster posing as Telangana police who even threatened to shoot Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The PM had spoken to the youth during his ‘Mann ki Baat’ monthly radio programme on October 27 last year.
The individual, Santosh Choudhary, received the video call on Suday afternoon from some men posing as Telangana police who later claimed that they were from the Hezbollah and were speaking from Lebanon. The caller claimed that they were in possession of bombs, rockets, atom bomb, pistols and rifles and would attack Delhi and Mumbai.
The fraudster also abused PM Modi and said that his time, along with that of Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath had come. The caller also threatened to eliminate the PM.
Santosh had earlier received a call on September 15 from fraudsters who posed as Mumbai crime branch police officer and threatening that a case had been registered against him. They had also asked him to present himself before the Mumbai crime branch for inquiry.
