‘No point in discussing it’: HD Kumaraswamy on son’s electoral loss

BENGALURU: A day after the Channapatna by-election results were declared, Union Minister H D Kumaraswamy, reacting for the first time on his son Nikhil Kumaraswamy’s loss, said that the results are out, and there is no point in discussing it further now. “We have to accept the results. Whatever there is, we will talk later”.

HD Kumaraswamy did not attend any programme after the Channapatna by-election results and stayed at his JP Nagar residence along with his son Nikhil. Kumaraswamy left for Delhi by a 12.30 pm, ahead of the winter session of Parliament, which will begin on November 25.

Meanwhile, former Prime Minister HvD Deve Gowda, reacting to his grandson Nikhil Kumaraswamy’s loss in Channapatna, said he would speak about it after returning from Delhi. He promised to answer all questions and provide clarification on the election issue.
