BENGALURU: After four Covid-19-related deaths reported in Andhra Pradesh with fresh cases being reported, Health Minister U T Khader says there is no danger of Covid in the state, but people should be cautious.
After Covid case were reported in Andhra Pradesh, strict vigilance is being maintained in the border area of Pavagada. But concern has started in the state too about whether Covid is present Karnataka. However, Health Minister U T Khader said that the people of the state need not panic. He said there is no increase in Covid in the state and cases are not being seen, but people should still be cautious.
“Covid has become endemic, so there is no need to panic about it. As of now there is no such concern, but it could spread further later”, he said. The minister has said there is no Covid panic in the state, people should not worry, and for now just remain cautious.
“For people travelling from Karnataka to Andhra or to Tirupati, there is no need for any panic, and there are no separate guidelines either. But if anyone has symptoms, they should get tested. No one needs to panic. Just take the same precautions that were taken for Covid earlier and be alert. There is no need to panic”, he said.
