Nine-year-old boy collapses at home after returning from temple fair, dies

A fair was held on Wednesday evening in Doddaballapur.

CHIKKABALLAPUR: A nine-year-old boy, who had been to a temple fair in Dobbaballapur on Wednesday evening, collapsed and died after returning home. It is suspected that his blood pressure may have dropped suddenly.

Shreyas collapsed at home after returning from the fair.

Shreyas, a resident of Shantinagar in Doddaballapur, had gone to the Mutyalamma Devei temple fair where a play and amusement area for children had been set up. Like other children, Shreyas too took part in the amusement rides.

However, when he returned home, he suddenly collapsed. He was immediately shifted to a hospital, but did not survive. The incident occurred in Doddaballapur police limits.
