Namma Metro sets up selfie points at two stations

BENGALURU: With the selfie trend only increasing among commuters, especially youngsters, the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL), has come up with a new plan for passengers to record their experiences and memories. The BMRCL has now set up selfies at two Metro stations to attract passengers.

Yashavanth Chavan, Chief Public Relations Officer, said, “People will enjoy clicking photos in beautiful places. It serves as a reminder and a memory. Hence, the BMRCL Metro set up selfie points and Namma Metro passengers are enjoying taking selfies. The two selfie points have been set up at two metro stations in the city for starters”.

The selfie points have been set up at Banashankari and Konanakunte Metro stations in the city. The selfie point is located in the concourse area of Konanakunte station and near the exit gate of Banashankari station. The selfie points are attracting passengers and the frame includes the Metro station’s name, Metro symbol, green background, small pots and lighting.
