BELAGAVI: A mysterious balloon, with an electronic gadget attached to it, was found in a field at Gaddikaravinakoppa village in Bailhongal taluk, raising alarm.
On spotting the white balloon attached with an electronic device, the villagers, who suspected that it could be a spy balloon and immediately informed the police. It is not clear from where the balloon came and when it landed in the field.
The police arrived at the spot and and have taken custody of the ballon and the attached device. Senior police officials also visited the spot and the balloon and device will be sent for further tests.
