BALLARI: Bears entered a stadium in Kudligi and a park in Hosapete in the early morning hours on Friday, giving morning walkers a scare.
A bear was spotted at the stadium at Kudligi and was running all around the stadium. The incident was caught on mobile phone cameras by some morning walkers.
Of late, there have been several instances of bear sightings in Kudligi and locals have demanded the Forest Department officials to take urgent measures to prevent them from entering human habitation.
Meanwhile, another bear was spotted inside the Sriramulu Park in the heart of Hosapete on Friday morning. The park is frequented by hundreds of morning walkers every day.
Luckily, no one had entered the park when the bear was spotted moving inside. The bear got scared and fled from the park after people started shouting and screaming, ran away and hid in a small house in Ranipet locality.
About 15 days ago, a bear had entered the same locality, causing fear among the residents.
