DAVANAGERE: A milk van fell into the Devarahalli lake after the road on the bund breached due to incessant rain. Luckily, the driver and his co-passenger were able to get out safely.
The incident occurred on the road connecting Devarahalli and Nallur villages. The vehicle was mostly empty.
Locals have requested MLA Madal Virupakshappa to ensure that the road, which has been in a bad shape for one year, is fixed at the earliest.
