Massive response as Public TV’s mega 2-day education expo, ‘Vidhyapeeta’, draws to close

The 'Vidhyapeeta' education expo, hosted by Public TV at Gayatri Vihar, Palace Grounds, saw massive participation.

BENGALURU: The seventh edition of ‘Vidhyapeeta’, Karnataka’s biggest-ever two-day education expo presented by Public TV on the theme ‘Today’s Learning, Tomorrow’s Light’, in collaboration with Ad6, concluded successfully on Sunday evening in the presence of stars.

Crowds poured right from morning and the sweltering heat was no deterrent. Students and parents visited various stalls and sought necessary information. On the first day of the education expo, there were about 4,000 visitors and on the concluding day on Sunday, the crowd swelled to more than 6,000. Students participated in various fun activities and many parents thanked Public TV for organising the education expo.

Movie stars Harshika Poonacha and Pradeep Doddaiah, who also participated, presented gifts to the winners of the lucky dip event.

Later, addressing the gathering, Harshika Poonacha said, “By organising such a massive event, Public TV is helping scores students and parents make the preferred choices. During our academic years, there were no such opportunities. Students should make good use of such opportunities and shape their future. It is commendable that Public TV has brought so many institutions under one roof”.

Public TV COO Harish Kumar too expressed happiness over the successful conduct of ‘Vidhyapeeta’ education expo. Thanking students and parents, who arrived from various parts of the state, he said they have contributed to making the event successful.
