KOLAR: The Kolar Rural police have arrested a man who stole a woman’s gold chain on the pretext of giving her a lift. The arrested is Suresh, a resident of Marathalli in Bengaluru.
The victim was waiting for a bus at Holamballi in the taluk when the accused offered to give her a lift. Midway, he snatched her gold chain and fled.
The police have recovered 10 gm of gold and a car from the arrested accused.
