CHIKKABALLLAPUR: Unidentified miscreants stabbed a man to death with a knife and a key chain during a photoshoot at a dhaba near Rameshwar in Doddaballapur. The deceased has been identified as Surya (22), a resident of Kacheripalya.
Surya and his friends were taking photos in front of the dhaba which had been decorated for the Deepavali festival. At this time, a group of youths came and asked them to take their photo. Later, the group created a ruckus by taking away the camera from them forcefully and attacked Surya with a knife and a key chain.
Surya collapsed immediately on the spot and was rushed to a hospital. Hospital sources said that he died due to severe bleeding. The group fled from the place after committing the crime.
A case has been registered at the Doddabelavangala police station in this regard. The police are on the lookout for the miscreants involved in the case.
