MADIKERI: A man shot himself to death with a single barrel gun at his house at Muvathokklu near Madapura in Somwarpet taluk, allegedly over his ill health. The deceased was identified as Praveen (28).
Praveen, who was working elsewhere, had returned home recently and was suffering from abdominal pain. He shot himself in the chest when there was no one else at home.
However, the exact motive for the suicide is not yet known. The police have registered a case and taken up further investigation.
