CHIKKODI: A man killed his girlfriend’s mother and younger brother by bludgeoning them in the head with an iron rod in their house for allegedly rejecting his marriage proposal at Akkola village in Nipani taluk on Wednesday night.
The victims are Mangala Nayak (45) and Prajwal Nayak (18). The accused Ravi has been arrested by the Nipani police along with his friend Lokesh and girlfriend within a few hours of the crime and a case has been registered.
Mangala and her family were living on the outskirts of Akkola village. Her daughter was in a relationship with Ravi but the family strongly opposed their marriage. Engraged by this, Ravi killed his girlfriend’s mother and brother, police said.
