ANEKAL: A man was hacked to death with a sharp weapon over a property issue while his wife and son were also attacked, at Gommalpur in the state border with Tamil Nadu.
The deceased has been identified as Ramesh (45). Koteppa and his aides attacked Ramesh and his wife Sharada when they were at a relative’s house, while their sons Ravi and Nagesh ran out of the house. The gang chased Ramesh on the road and killed him.
Police sources said that there was some ongoing land dispute between brothers Koteppa and Ramesh. The tussle between family members ended in murder. The three injured were admitted to a hospital.
The Thali police visited the spot and registered a case. The search operation is under way to nab the accused.
