TUMAKURU: A young man who went fishing near a lake at Hosapalya village in Koratagere taluk died after he got entangled in a fishing net on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Gangadhar (20). The man’s hands and feet got entangled in a fishing net and he drowned in the water. He died of suffocation as he could not swim with the fishing net trapping him.
A case has been registered at Koratagere police station.
